Bought this when I was putting together a budget big turbo setup, but things have changed. It's new, never used, blue in color, dual piston style bov w/ 1" plug for your inlet pipe. Almost the same thing as the Forge 004 unit. Comes with a new spring kit from Forge, too, with 4 springs and 2 washers. I think I paid ~$60-65 for everything.. shoot me a PM with a reasonable offer.

I purchased a set of 19's for my MKV and I put them on the car. While they are set up nicely I kind of want to get rid of the gap that is still there but not sure what direction I should go. I don't want to tuck the wheels as that is not my style when it comes to cars. I like a nice clean look but not sure works best as this is my first VW.

I want to get ride of that gap but not to low that I have to roll or flare the fenders yet. All suggestions are welcome.

My MS3 got traded when we bought the wifes TSX last month. I've been driving the 09 corolla S and a little segment of my nuts gets taken from me...

My MS3 got traded when we bought the wifes TSX last month. I've been driving the 09 corolla S and a little segment of my nuts gets taken from me every day. Don't know if crappier driving dynamics are possible. The steering is sloppier than a rusty go kart from the 80's. I hate it. I give my wife credit for sitting in it every day for 2+ hours in traffic for 3 years.

We own the corolla outright. original owners, all records, no accidents. 79k on it. I'm allowed to sell or trade it for something else as long as I don't dip into our savings.

I just found this and I think I can work a straight trade.

Its an 02 with sport, premium and cold packages. 93k. Local car, 2 owners, all the records (most service at the local bmw dealer), no paintwork. Radiator and water pump were done recently.

What could go wrong ? My wife's not into me getting a car 7 years older but I don't drive a lot of miles and this is a damn nice car. I think she can be won over.

I just got some headlights from a guy on here, and although the packaging DID look totally fine, UPS managed to break the right one. Since I got them for $550 shipped, the shipper insured them for $550. Makes sense right? Since they came in two boxes, UPS is dicking me and will MAYBE (still up in the air) reimburse me for $225. If one of you guys has a right headlight for $225 you'd be awesome, or any ideas on how to get UPS to pay for the PAIR, since they function as a pair and one working headlight is useless to me. :banghead:

car currently has no lights and just an intake kit

no huge plans for power but I do want to clean up the bay and delete as much as possible without causing any check engine lights

a slight power bump from a flash tune would be nice too but I do realize it won't be an earth shattering upgrade

so my questions are:

1) can I buy an ECU to send in to a tuner for what I've listyed above while keeping my OEM for backup?
2) if I can what ECU's will work? Does it have to be an ECU from a 2000 GTI 12V VR6 5spd to work?
3) what tuners are the best for what I'm looking to do? I've seen Gonzo tuning so far and have sent him a PM before making this thread

any help is greatly appreciated

I'm working off this thread here:
http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90764
...hoping the filter for our cars is in a similar location, but I have had NO time to get under the rear pass. side wheel to look.

If anyone has time in the next 48 hours, can someone get under their B6 ... 2.0T TSI, and check to see that the filter is there?

Muchos Thankyous.
