35, Have owned 3 diff. SLC's over the past 4 years. Current one for almost 3 yrs. Summer of 92' I was 19 and the SLC had just come out. I wanted it then but $23-$25k in 92' for a college kid was crazy. That and at the time VW's were cheaper cars so the price seemed ridiculous. Wasn't a Jetta like $10K at that time?
Part of the older wiser group!
41, First saw one at the dealer in 89 and wanted one ever since. Bought it for real in 98 as a project car. Sat on it for 8 years and went through 10 other vehicles but still kept the rado. finally started working on getting it back on the road two years ago and succeeded this past year. If I had known about the tex I might have got her running sooner.
First saw one when I was 15-16.
It was ntonar's silver one. He was dating my friends older sister and I had no idea what it was.... but thought it was sweet as hell. My friend said it was a kit car... that he bought it in pieces off line and put it together. Realized he was full of it once I found out what it was
But.....I bought my first one when I was 20.... second one when I was 21... now i'm twenty 22 and will be picking up another one this month....yay
i'll be 23 late march
32 now and I got my first c in late 97, as for the 6 other Corrado I have bought and drove over the years. I have sold all of them but the first one I bought, I have kept it all these years. I've had over (including the 6 I drove) 18 Corrado in all, part out to many. Still have 5 in the Yard now and just sold one to Matchstick_vr last week
