Average is 25. The majority bought theirs in the last 3 years.
Youngest owners are HuntsvilleCorrado and G60_Corrado_91.
Longest owners are Camp and Dogger both original owners of 91's.

Throw an Audi engineer down a hole with a ladder and he will fashion a shovel from it and tunnel his way out

Amazing what an age spread we have.
I've decided to build an Access database with all this info (no user names or anything) to get some demographics on age to length of ownership. Should be interesting. Give me some time though as it's alot of DE (data entry).
Could you imagine a national Corrado event if we could get almost everyone there? Mine's by far no show car so I don't go to shows but an open represent meet. Could you image how many tow trucks would be needed?
Daydreams aside. Please continue to represent here.

46 in April.
Owned the green one since 2002, bought the black one last summer.
First saw one at Road Atlanta as the official pace car for the Supervees (it was a G60, so this was probably `89 or so). Sat in a new VR at the dealership (when I bought the Golf new) in `92, but just couldn't afford it.
Makin' up for lost time now....

Sure sign of a classic. Ya never saw a college kid play Bach or The Beatles? When something's really good, who cares how old it is?

Sounds cool. Should we try to gather data from non-vortex owners too?

Y'know, it's odd...I've actually tried to hide when I go to shows because the green one's a daily driver. The paint's awful, the map pockets are full of bills & CDs, and my daughter's winter coat is still in the back seat.
But I've never had another C owner say stay away. They always seem so happy just to see another one that they don't care how dirty it is.
Or maybe it just makes their showcar look better?

Only extra credit if you use an HP48gx. Where's your enter key, and why do you need parenthesis on a calculator?
I think I could do the statistics on my HP15C. Definitely on my HP41CX. The HP15C still wears battle scars from riding under the seats in the Scirocco_S and getting squished.

I'm 33 y.o and bought my rado in sept 2007 (a nice nugget yellow Us spec 1990 G60). In a month I will install a brand new lysholm SC and a liquid air intercooler...
It's very very hard to find rados here in Lima, Peru. I have to wait almost six months to buy mine, after searching everywhere...Here you can count them with the fingers of your hand, finding a corrado on the road is getting very very rare as years goes by...they are very few...
