The wheels with that paint job are crazy good. How do you like the wilwoods? Mind sharing the specs? Where did you get them?

Gunna post a few more pics because why not.
Got all the little things done that I needed to. Made a fog light harness, added city lights to the headlight harness, tidied up the trunk area, got an alignment. Buttoned up the dash and put in my momo wheel.

I can't believe I missed how incredibly quick you got this wrapped up. I've been watching this for a while, but somehow missed the last couple weeks. Congrats on the progress!
I used my 6 years of Mk2 hobbyist training to become a professional tech in 2006, but that makes you not want to work on your car as much.

Absolutely amazing. I wish I could see this car in person. And your level of detail is fantastic.

Quick Question: Can you walk me through how you got the vapor barriers to look so good? Like what glue, material, etc?

It's a product called crash wrap. I used it when I was at the body show years ago. It's typically used for covering broken windows. Works tits for vapor barriers. It can be found on eBay or from auto body supply places.

Took the front apart to get the fender to sit better. I had to scrape out a bit more of the factory goo they gob in the fenders.

I received my Lucas rear fog. I made a bracket and mounted it. Yes I know it's on the passenger side but it looked odd above the exhaust tip. I still have to wire it.

Took 3rd in euro at the umass show last weekend.

The BMW's that took 1-2 at the UMASS show were exceptional.

Was it difficult to change the clusters out? Keep up the good work.

It's not that bad just have to be careful pulling off the needles.
