For better or for worse, flat black has been rediscovered by the designers. In this Audi's case, I'd dare say the worse.It's been done much better in other eras, IMO:

Hofele design has released an appearance package for the Audi A5/S5 range that's supposed to make those models look like an R8. But they don't. . .
