Pininfarina has released a single sketch to tease its next upcoming reveal, which will take place at March's Geneva Motor Show. And from what we've seen thus far, we'll be standing there in the front row when the sheet comes off. It should be absolutely stunning.
All we know about the car thus far is that it will be based on a production Alfa Romeo. Judging by the wheels in the sketch and the proportions of the concept, we're guessing the donor car will be the already-stunning 8C Spider, which recently went on sale in Europe. It's almost a shame to tear one of those cars apart, and we hope Alfa was nice enough to simply donate a chassis to the project. The car is meant to be a celebration of not only Pininfarina's 80th birthday, but also Alfa's 100th. As such, the car is said to be an "innovative vision of an antique theme strongly present in the Pininfarina roots, the two-seat spider." It looks like it will be a big more streamlined than the curvaceous 8C, but we'll have to wait for Geneva to say for sure.
