Looking at those was what got me even more interested in putting them on...
Last time I ran these on my MK4 I had 215/40 on the fronts and 235/40 on the rears, the rears were stretched nicely but rubbed like crazy nonetheless, I"m thinking of maybe running the same setup..

Why do you think that he wants to be low? Easier to get in and out of his car.

the stock 225s will work, but if you really want to be slammed then you will want something more narrow, at least a 215/40

edit: Post number 4 on the first page is the same as what you are asking about

I'm about to order a set of FK Silverline CO's and I'm thinking of doing everything at the same time in time for Spring. My main concern is them poking out too much and looking ridiculous or rubbing way too much.

I'm thinking of 15mm adapters to get my et's at 41 for the fronts and 35 for the rears. What do you guys think??

for an 8.5 wide tire, i'd say you can get away with a 215/35. stretch will be minimal to medium.

i see some great suspension and wheel/tire combos, will the same offsets work on my MKVI Jetta? maybe 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear et45. i have ksports that just arrived and i would really like to reduce the chance of rubbing since i will drive my tdi on road trips. i plan to swap to stock wheels prior, but there might be times where i can't swap and leave the 18's on.
