New to the fourm, glad to join the scence. Any members here from Corpus Christi? If so, post your ride to make yourself known.

I've never understood introduction threads. Assimilate and get with the fscking program - nobody cares who you are. Start creating relevant threads or get out.

Welcome OP. What do you drive?

I'd consider editing your first post with some pictures of your car, info about your car, and then heading over to the regional forums to find TCL people in your area.
      http://forums.vwvortex.com/forumdisp...-United-States

The difference between a introduction where everyone welcomes you or everyone trolls you is generally a bunch of car pictures and info.
      Depending on the car.

The Ironman was badass. Despite two Winston Cups and a huge string of consecutive starts, he was always overlooked back when I followed NASCAR.

Saying everything that pops in your mind.... are you in a special home with foam helmets?

      But I understand.

To the Original Poster (OP), this is the internet.
So there is a lot of static when trying to tune in any channel.....

Also, this is The Car Lounge, not a VW only part of VWVortex.
Not sure if the VW thing is what you meant by "the scene".
      Do you have a vehicle?

Are you trying to be hip by acting like you don't know what scene you are trying to be in?
