So, who has pre-ordered one? And who has picked one up already?

They have started landing on lots in both the US and Canada now.

Post up what you ordered, or photos of what you have already!

And share what vehicle are you coming from.

Curious to see how many people ranting about em actually went ahead with getting one.

I am waiting on a Green Envy ST (Canadian spec) so it comes with the Recaro package. No nav, no moon roof, no wheel/caliper upgrade. Don't like moon roof's/Nav's... and going aftermarket with the wheels.

Initially ordered last year through a dealer before the banks opened up, but they screwed me over so they could put one on the lot. So I had to re-order again recently elsewhere, so I'm not expecting delivery until October.

Currently driving 2010.5 6.2L SVT Raptor.
Clearly you and others don't see what's going on here.

Are there any ECU tunes out there for this engine yet? This looks like a fun little car, but another 50hp never hurts!

Was talking to the sales manager at my dealer the other day about them when I had the Focus in for service, said they should have a few here in a week or two and invited me to come in for a test drive when it rolls off the truck.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested, will report with findings.

Cobb should have something available within 6 months. The delays over the brakes and 6th gear whine up is really put a monkey wrench in a lot of people's plans, like the employees who where eligible for the management lease program.

The Focus ST accounts for about 7% of total Focus sales based on what I've heard.

They have been confirmed for us factory support. So upgrade hp with warranty?

Interesting. Those tunes look fairly conservative, but that's probably the only way to get factory support. It will be interesting to see what else pops up for these.

      Not in the US, unfortunately.

There is currently no US program to back Mountune (or any other) upgrades via standard Ford warranty coverage.

I emailed Mountune a few months back and they confirmed that they can flash a US ECU, but obviously no warranty promises.

Look, we're one of the main US Mountune agents and have been working with them (and Ford Racing) for over a year developing and tweaking product for US consumption. Hell, that press release you posted is on our homepage

Aftermarket parts and US-sold vehicle factory warranty coverage is a tricky combination - has been for years and things aren't getting less complicated as time goes by.

The discussion here had progressed to software recalibration, so the last thing - as a US Mountune dealer - I want is for people to start assuming that upgrading their ECU will not potentially have an effect on their factory new-car warranty.

We're all working together (Mountune, fifteen52, and Ford Racing) to provide a clear Mountune warranty program that will at the very least fully supplement factory warranty areas specific to whatever Mountune parts are being added. But as of now we're not there, nor are we even suggesting that the program will be effectively comparable to what Mountune and Ford offer UK buyers.

It's a work in progress and I just want people to know that

Let's face it. Ford's performance models don't come with a DCT option, because they can't make a good one.

And GM doesn't make one at all. They are using 6ATs in 2014.

No, I'm just glad they didn't offer it in DCT only, because as I said I don't like Ford's DCTs.

I've spent some time on the website building one, but every time I get down to the model I actually want, I look at the 3K that Ford has on the hood of the Focus ST, and I can't help but think that I'd take that route instead. Then I think, well for a couple thousand more I could just get a Mustang GT. It's really not a bad time to be a prospective Ford buyer.

Bad luck. In the first one I was rear-ended by a texting driver while sitting at red light. In the second one I T-boned an old man in an LS430 who imagined that he had a green light to proceed across a busy street without looking. There was no light. I couldn't stop in time. I gave up on MS3's at that point. Figured they were cursed. I loved both of them though.
