I've always wondered if the drivers are allowed to play music while driving.

Oh man... I was actually just thinking about that yesterday. Trying to think which team would make the jump if Dodge did come back in 2018. I have a hunch but I'm probably way off lol.

Well, me too. That would make that track worth watching.

Wrong thread? Unless you're implying that the SHR Fords will sandbag, which is a definite NO. Supposedly they've had a little bit of trouble adjusting their chassis but there's no point in sandbagging here. If a team is capable of winning they're going to show it, and they're going to try to win.

Exactly. Honestly even if somebody gave me free tickets I wouldn't waste the time driving up there and back again.

If you stay on site though, the party is pretty great for 3 days straight!

You're not the first person who's said that to me, but if I'm camping at a track for the weekend somewhere in the Northeast then it will be at the Glen and I will be dining at Seneca Lodge.

This is nothing new, but sometimes I watch these radio chatter compilations and I just love this stuff, especially Kurt. "Check the mutha****in' damage!".

This is not safe for work or little kids.

Unbelievable. Just gotta stand there and take in everything you're seeing.

The night we went there, a buncha old locals had taken over the TV and were playing their home movies from the F1 races.

That is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping you'd say.

When I was there, it was a bunch of locals just getting piss-drunk arguing about NASCAR.

Sounds like you went on the wrong weekend hah.

NASCAR weekend is hot garbage for any track you go to.

Maybe. I'm speculating for all ford affiliated teams in general. Penske did not have the speed JGR showed consistently on every track, corners and straightaways alike.. Not sure SHR can switch badges and keep up with the Toyotas within 6 months of their announcement cause I'm 90% sure a JGR car will grab the first Monster Cup.

With the downforce created by the flat-brimmed hat now installed, the cars should all dig pretty good early-on, but push mid-corner-on.
