So... Mrs. Aonarch's '16 Camaro 2SS caught on fire and is a total loss. Waiting on insurance check now. We were planning on keeping the Camaro for only a year or two then grabbing the all new XC60 in time for kiddos.

That puts us in a conundrum, and completely changes the vehicle type that we are looking for vs the previous thread months ago.

      Without further ado:

      Needs:
      - AWD/ 4WD
      - Minor off-road capability (Don't get hung up on this, just driving to campsites and medium sized ruts)
      - Not a sedan
      - Not Japanese, minus luxury brands
      - Not FCA
      - Not VW
      - Good infotainment
      - Heated seats/ lumbar
      - 4 doors+
      - Not a full size truck (Garage space)

      Wants:
      - Power
      - Good driving dynamics
      - Reliable
      - Inexpensive to run, no 20" Mich PSS and carbon ceramics
      - Cooled seats

      Don't Care:
      - MPG
      - Price under $45k

      Exceptions to the rules:
      - Chevy SS
      - 4Runner

Right now we are seriously considering a Colorado Z71/ Canyon Denali, Volvo V60CC, heavily discounted 2017 XC60.

Loosely considering an Acadia Denali, 4Runner TRD Premium, and Audi Q5.

      What else are we missing?

New gen Chevy Traverse? Might be larger than what you need, and I don't think they're at dealers yet.

      Ford Edge Sport?

      I think I'd go for the Q5.

If you don't care about the updated Q5, you can go get stupid deals on the outgoing generation of Q5's as the new ones are just hitting lots this week around here it seems.

I was offered 11% off on one, but didn't care to swing 2 lease payments for 6 months of overlap.

One very important thing - Do you want a BOF SUV or a car based one? The 4Runner is my choice here (or a Wrangler if you would look at FCA) based on most of your criteria, but the driving dynamics and power part rules anything BOF out.

Porsche Macan because Porsche and awesome. Seriously though, it ticks every box except price but you said you don't care. Starts at $47,500.

Not a bad idea. We probably would get the outgoing XC60 over it. Or a 2016 V60CC.

Wrangler is too rough. I'd rock one, but not the Mrs.

      He is.

Dealer fixing a noisy valve, tech went on test drive after attempting a repair. Up in flames it went.

Well even the Titanium model with all the options,V6, AWD meets your price, needs and wants (including cooled seats). With discounts you could probably find one under $40k.
