I can't imagine what it's like to be closely related to MagicGTI while being in the market for a new car.

He must be spamming you with Volvo lease deals.

Waiting on the fire inspection/ adjuster. If we are not happy with their number then we will go the attorney route/ arbitrator.

It is on the list, but she/ actually I would rather not dish out that much for one.

      Ha.

I think right now the list is in this order:

      1. Chevy SS, permanently at #1, but waiting to see if dealer will give us one on a steal. And yes she doesn't care that I will probably get a manual one this fall.

      2. Volvo V60CC/ V60, it will be AWD, just depends on numbers/ availability for which trim we want.

      3. Tahoe/ Yukon, new is wildly expensive, especially vs a 1500 truck, certified used works, but she doesn't want a used car. We don't have lemon protection here in Georgia for used vehicles, even certified.

      4. All Track, she doesn't like the exterior. A huge plus though is being able to go APR Stage II, under $30k is nice too.

Not ranked: 4Runner, pending test drive. The price is in the sweet spot of our budget.

We wrote off the Guilla due to its small size.

There never was a Julia Gulia because Glenn Gulia was such an *******.

Now this was a superior machine. Ten grand worth of gimmicks and high-priced special effects. The rear windows lit up with a touch like frogs in a dynamite pond. The dashboard was full of esoteric lights and dials and meters that I would never understand.

I just don't see anything better than Volvo for a wagon, any once the XC60 comes out, Volvo IMO will be king of the wagon (V60 and V90), CUV (XC60), and SUV (XC90).

The next gen 60 series sedan/wagon can't get here fast enough. The current gen interiors look positively dated after seeing the XC60 and V90 this last weekend.

If I could swing a V90 R-Design the search would be over. If the XC60 drives like they say it will (serious Q5 competitor) I may have to seriously consider it though I really want back into not an SUV/CUV.

Did you happen to sit in the XC60 by chance? Some of the euro forums have been grumbling that the interior looks better than it feels. That being said, these are the same people that complain that the C-class and E-class don't feel like the S-class interiors.

I did. It was a T8 Inscription, so I don't k ow how valid the comparison would be to lower trims. I didn't spend a ton of time fondling all the controls out of respect for the crowd of people looking at it, but have no complaints about what I saw or touched. It was very comfortable front and rear.

My one "maybe" complaint - I think the tall center tunnel might take some getting used to.

Dealer's insurance (Self insured mind you), is saying it was a manufacturers defect, and are trying to weasel out of a larger payout. Basically stating it wasn't their fault, but they are liable... So stated the car was defective (No ****), and will only pay the cash value at the time of loss. Should get a number today or tomorrow. Going to hire a 3rd party appraiser/ arbitrator regardless of the number that they give.

I just don't want to pay MSRP for a SS.

And I barely fit in the Goolla without a sunroof. I'm not sure how Clarkson did it. I do have a long torso too, but yeah, 6'2" ain't NBA status tall.

      #.
When was the last iteration of the 3.6 that you're talking about? I've seen '13s and '14s with the issue.

I'm talking about the 6 speed trans; when did the Edge or Traverse get a 9 or 10'speed? The Edge hasn't changed the trans AFAIK.

Obviously, there's no data on a brand new car's reliability.
