Hi I bought a used 2012 R Line and just checked the spare and its a good year eagle 215/55R16
Is that OEM for the 2012 R Line or did the dealer pull a switch with me. Shouldn't it come with an 18 inch spare
He took the tire iron and jack so I wouldn't put it past him.

You will get a jack and all the other stuff the rims isn't the same as OEM. But it's the same size as a replacement or to change it.

      Nothing...it's for storage

The tools and everything are in a piece of foam, under a plastic panel, to the left of the spare tire

Thanks I see where everything goes now my other VW had everything inside the spare rim I'll have to get a tire iron and what ever else is missing but at least I have the right spare although I can't believe a 16 inch wheel and tire match up to the 18 inch wheel and tire's I have on the car.

The 16 inch spare tire you have (215/55/16) is only 0.1 inch smaller in diameter than the OEM 18 inch wheel (235/40/18).
