Let's say you're rich enough to have a few toys in your garage. But NOT SUPER RICH enough to have multiple super cars... So what kind of a garage would you have? Would it be flashy exotics? a bunch of luxo barges? maybe you'd go the weekend racer route and build yourself some "race" cars? Or would you commission a bunch of custom cars? etc..

No limit on the number of cars, but let's all be reasonable here.

Personally.. I don't think I would go the flashy exotic car route. I would be lying if I said I didn't like the attention, but I also don't want to be the typical rich dude with a bunch of Ferrari's and Lambo's either. My fleet:

BAC Mono. Probably the only flashy thing i'd own.

AC Cobra. I'd probably kill myself driving one, but damn is it hot.

Flyin Miata with LS engine swap

maybe also own some sort of SUV or luxo wagon for everday use.. like a Volvo or something.

If I finally won Powerball one of these days I would never buy an exotic even though I do like to gawk at Paganis and such at C&C. I'd want something really unique and interesting like a Morgan Three-wheeler and then I would probably get into dirt late models.

I'd have a lot of cars, but most wouldn't be expensive. The garage, however, would be epic. A sheet metal brake, English wheel, welders, plasma cutters and a separate clean room to build engines and all tools in that room stay there and are new and spotless.

As far as the cars go, some stuff like this:

I like my DD. I'd keep it, especially since there isn't another sports sedan out currently that I liked more.

      Weekend toy list:

Lotus Elan driver. Find something in the mid $20k range. Nothing too fancy.

Alfa GTV. $30k gets you something good enough to park at CnC without making excuses.

I'd get another E9, do a fuel injected swap, and paint it one of the funkier colors (Ceylon, Golf, Taiga). Call it $100k all said and done.

Then I'd want to go weekend racing with my friends. Hushy and I commented at the last historics how much fun it would be to get old Formula Fords. I'll take a Lotus 69. Havent priced them out for some time, but I imagine $75k gets you one with some spares.

A tow rig with a toy box and some tools and I'm all set.

At least 10-15 old 80s-90s cars. AW11s, rx7s, alfa 75, Merkur, SPG 900, that sort of thing. And a nice daily driver, and a Morgan trike.

I will say it again, damn it. Volvo did a great job. Wood buy as a demi-pleb.

      Cause black F40 is.....

Venturi's are so cool, and plus most people will assume you have 2 F40's as no one has heard of Venturi in the states.

My tastes vary, but judging by my current stable, I'd probably have a bunch of cars. In fact, I'd probably have something similar to what I currently have only nicer.

      So, instead of a budget semi-restomod 79 Camaro, I'd have a full pro-touring setup.

Instead of an 08 Suburban, I'd probably have a new Suburban.

Instead of a base Elantra, I'd have a Sport.

For real though, there's a couple of cars I simply have to have.

With a Northstar and 6 speed swap.

      And that's just a start.

It would take a lot of money to break my frugality or some form of guaranteed large sum every year.

I would opt for custom cars though. I would love to have a stealth sleeper of my first car a 70s 300 SD turbo diesel.

Ferrari 328, Lotus Evora, Esprit, Elise, and a bike-powered formula car.

E34 M5 Touring as the tow vehicle for the formula car would be great too.

      All it takes is money.

I'd probably own Bristols, Land Rovers, a prewar something, and an older S-Class. And Motorcycles. Tons of motorcycles. And very likely an early NSX for fun. Also an XJS with a 6 speed swap.

Rich, but not super rich? I'd have to upgrade the house, so that would cost some coin. I don't like hassle, so I couldn't have a bunch of cars, especially anything that would require a lot of attention. My fun cars would be limited to 3 and would be chosen from the following list:
      Current e92 m3
      Current corrado
      997 gt2 or 991.2 gt3
      Final gen viper

My daily would be a new g550. I might consider a wild card spot which would consist of cars I'd like to experience but wouldn't want to own long-term, like a Sti, corvette, or hot rod. They would cars that would be leased or owned no more than 2 yrs.
