I think the John Cooper Works Rebel Green is pretty close, although it's hard to find a decent pic.

I've been eyeing this 2013 modded JCW on eBay. The green (although metallic) totally makes this thing work.

I love this. Great Falls is the town right next to mine (my house is near the border of GF and McLean), and is where the big DC-area Cars and Coffee meet is. It's about 20 mins from VW HQ and the name is clearly a nod to the local fancy-pants car scene.

LOVE that dark green on the SS. It SO suits the car. Reminds me of the big sedans my dad had back in the day. Of course, his were unmitigated pieces of 💩 but still....

Theyre special order, only available on cars built in Germany (R and iGolf) and $3,000. While great, I don't know if it's 6 months and $3,000 great.

This coming from a guy who's only new car was a Ginster yellow GTI VR6 and yes, Ginsberg yellow is on there. Sigh.

When My Beloved came home in early 1998 with a brand-new Saturn SW2 in a deep dark green color (something I had no idea she was even thinking about), she said it was the only one on the lot equipped the way she wanted it, but she didn't care for the green color. Said it didn't go with much she had. The salesman convinced her with, "well, flowers come in all colors, but they all have green leaves." Boom.

Come to think of it, we've had a few green ones, but not more than five or six in thirty years. We're more a red or grey type...

Chick at my work has a green Ford Escape.

Sometimes I park my orange Corolla next to it just for kicks. She never says anything though.

i really wanted to wrap my silver (read: "German beige") Z4C in this color, but at $3K is too rich for my public-employee lifestyle...

I would bet that you must place a non-refundable deposit when ordering.

Anyone in Canada know what the policies are on this.

That being said 3000$ seems a bit steep on a VW, if it was maybe 1500$ or so I would be interested, and I would put down a non-refundable deposit on a vehicle as well.

I agree why won't VWoA do this kind of thing, it seems like a sure way to sell a few more vehicles and if they get that
non refundable deposit, they probably won't lose anything on it. This kind of thing also generates chatter about the brand too.

Royal Blue and Emerald are to of my favorite colors. I'd pay to have that on my vehicle, the manufactures in the US are just
playing it too safe, and seeing so many silver, black, white, and beige cars is BORING and depressing.

There's no doubt someone from MT hangs out here. They even wrote about chirping third in one review.

I'm glad RP agrees with me.

Green in my favorite color, so I agree I'm sad that it's not that common anymore.

I am happy to see that I will be the first to post my favorite green! Sadly it was only a 12-13 year color.

Dodge/Ram still has you covered. My drive home everyday takes me past the port of Baltimore where they unload their vehicles from shipping. This week they've had a lot full of bright lime green trucks. Probably be at dealers next week.
