Said it didn't go with much she had. The salesman convinced her with, "well, flowers come in all colors, but they all have green leaves." Boom.

Come to think of it, we've had a few green ones, but not more than five or six in thirty years. We're more a red or grey type...
My Saturn is that dark green colour. Its a cheapy winter/beater car, so it's not like I picked the colour, but I've grown to like it. Especially with the gold Enkei's.

I don't know if this is a factory color or not but there is a Ram running around in my area that is similar to this

That used to be the Forest Service fleet color, and it was a factory color.

The color green is still removing from a sorted history- it went from the gerbil poop greens of the 70s to the beach ball teals and aquas of the 90s.
There has been a slow trend of "hint of green" colors in premium luxury car finishes that's maintained steady growth and brought the color back in much less garish forms (ignoring muscle cars and subcompacts).

I like a hint of green high quality metallics... I like BRG on the right car.. but we don't need teal green camcords.

Dark green metallic was a very popular colour for camcords in the 90's, there was actually a few different shades of dark green from each manufacture, Dark Green Met, Dark Emerald, etc.

And Toyota recently had (has?) a pretty interesting green on the Camry.

It seemed like every Escort, and every other Taurus was Tropic Green in the mid/late 90's.

So now that we are up to 4 pages of green cars; is it safe to say we do have green cars?

I'll always associate green cars with tan seats (Ford Eddie Bauer, Toyota 4runners)

I do love eye searing lime greens and that puke green m3s came in

I grew up with this thing, so these dark greens that everybody seems to like are a bit tarnished to my eyes. I refer to this particular shade as "Misery Green."

Taiga green is currently leading my top five factory color options for my e9 project.

Photos of this color vary greatly depending on lighting:

BMW Oxford Green is one of my favorites. This will most likely be the color I choose for my 911 in a few years when I get it painted.
