What times did episodes 1 through 8 get?

Seriously though, how have I not heard of this car, I don't think.

Too low for the carousel? Seemed like it was speed governed. Sounded like it was at full speed on both straights before halfway.

I loved the long blink and visible sigh the driver made once he hit the straightaway. He was like "oh thank god I'm through all that".

Impressive car. That rear wing is ridonkulous.

No transmission so to speak. It has 4 motors and is maxed out at ~194 mph.

Really, they couldn't have geared it to hit 200? Looks like plenty of room for slightly larger diameter wheel and tire. That should be enough to hit 200.

I wonder what Sabine would be able to do it in inside this thing.

Seriously though, this thing is ridiculous. Never even heard of it.

I do think breaking 200mph was the main objective here.

Wow, watching ring videos always makes me tense, but I think the whine from the electric motors made it more even more so. I caught myself holding my breath a couple times.

They geared it to do over 300. They use the metric system there, though.

Love the noises that thing makes.

I also enjoy the way it pushes the drivers head back (like he wasn't expecting it) at 12 or 13 second moment on the lap timer.

      Pretty cool car!

I'll be the first to be the grumpy old man holding on to history and state that did absolutely nothing for me. I'd gladly do the Ring 30 seconds slower if I can listen to the sound of a glorious V8/10/12 behind my head and choose my own gears.

I agree. I like screaming engines and aggressive gear shifts.

The thing looks like it's basically a propose built racecar though, so I don't think it owes it's success to having electric motors instead of a gasoline engine. The Glickenhaus SCG 003 will probably set an even faster time with a turbocharged 800 hp V6. So I don't think you'd have to sacrifice any time at all to have a gas engine.
